THIS IS ADAM!?!?!?!?

~~~Ahh yes and we're back!! ( Applause!! XD ) for this week I took a look into jobs jobs and more jobs ( i'm 18 what do i care...XD ) well so far the IT industry has been deeeeemanding as i was sifting through all those job posts ( and a lot of call center trash heaps ^___^'' ) I found some pretty demanding and hard hitting facts about what the heck it is to be an IT professional ( pretend you care XD ) anyway heres what I came up with.......
( Thanks god for java I'm guessing its cuz its a very dynamic language )
Team work is always an asset. ( except in examinations XD )
Discoveries:
- The market wants experienced IT graduates ( most ads required 2-3 years of experience )
- Language skills are very important ( being multi-lingual helps a lot )
- Residency is also a constant ( I have to say this one really bites especially for international base companies )
- IT share research and development work loads ( ok pawis at dugo pipol XD)
- IT professionals should be highly computer literate and capable of working with all aspects ( MEANING NO ROBOTS buzz buzz** bzzt* )
- It's best to have communication skills ( no duh XD )
- Leadership skills and motivational aspects are also a big preference ( geee i wonder why....XD )
Concerns:
- Is it really this demanding for a fresh-graduate?
- Will all these skills be covered on the program?
- How does this help me to understand what the work of an IT professional is?
